HOME / PROCESSING
Our process
Clean, graded and sortex-fresh.
Every consignment of pulses, grains, cereals, oilseeds and spices passes through a disciplined line of cleaning, grading and optical sorting before it is packed.
Pre-cleaning
Raw material is cleaned using sieving, de-stoning, washing and air separation to remove stones, dust, straw and other foreign matter.
Fine cleaning
Aspiration and magnetic separation remove even the smallest impurities, dust and iron particles.
Sizing & grading
Material is sorted by size and thickness so every lot is uniform in particle size and grade.
Gravity separation
Gravity tables separate product by density, lifting out lighter and heavier impurities to sharpen purity.
Colour / optical sorting
Optical colour-sortex machines inspect and sort each grain for consistent colour, with handpicking as the final check.
Quality assurance
Sampling and checks run across every stage to uphold consistent, buyer-approved standards.

Sortex machinery
Inspecting every grain for colour and quality.
Why optical sorting
What the eye misses, the sorter catches.
Optical colour sorters inspect individual grains and remove discoloured, damaged or foreign pieces that sieving and gravity tables cannot. It is the stage that gives a pulse or grain its consistent, clean appearance on the shelf.
- Consistent colour across the lot
- Foreign particles and defective grains removed
- Handpicking as the final check
